Marsha has been practicing Wood burning or Pyrography for over 16 years. She’s been featured in Pyrography Magazine (published by Fox Chapel) three times, featured on cable television news channels 5 times, and her art has been shown in Art shows both in the States and in at least one international online Art show. In 2022 she was awarded the very first Honorable Mention at the prestigious Sedona Arts Festival. They had never needed an Honorable Mention in their 25 years of having the festival, however the judges felt her art was so unique and worthy of an award they made an exception.
Marsha offers a personal Zoom meeting of 45 minutes and follow up phone call in which she personally explains the videos she has made up close of how she performs her magic with her tools. She will discuss the pros and cons of both styles of Wood burning machines, the Walnut Hollow versa tool and the wire tip style machines.
She will discuss how to achieve solid dark black background, textures like fur, hair, shading and stippling, as well as any other questions you might have.
