Marsha Wilson has been wood burning since 2009. She started with a used Walnut Hallow burner she found in a closet. She was cutting crosses out of cedar at the time and used that burner to decorate some of them. She found her calling! Many other crafts had been tried only to fall by the wayside as too expensive or too impractical with small children. Wood burning was a perfect fit and continues to challenge.   She started burning on wood, Baltic Birch plywood is a favorite. She has also enjoyed burning on heavy water color paper and Bristol Board, even leather.  Leather burns the fastest and paper the slowest, and it also allows for the most details. Lastly she begun burning on bone. When she found a cow rib bone. Her art can be followed on Facebook and Instagram. She also accepts commissions.
